Box of Books was rolled out across the school for Back to School 2020. As an ex LearningField school, Lourdes Hill College felt Box of Books had the content they needed and the right attitude about working with other technology and solution providers, including The Alpha School System (TASS) which Lourdes Hill College has been using for their school management for nearly 10 years.
We spoke with Andrew Russell, Director of ICT at Lourdes Hill College, to find out what the school was looking for in an educational resources platform and what made them choose Box of Books. Through an API, the two different systems share one central point of truth, with secure data exchange taking the guesswork out of syncing and automating. This fully tested solution removes the need for the school to contact suppliers every time they have a change or a new student or teacher starts.

“The ability for teachers to direct link to the ebook and exact page is also a benefit”, Andrew feels the teachers are seeing this benefit and are starting to use it as they create assessments. Andrew looks forward to the digital insights the school will be able to have access to moving forward. He feels that by using more digital resources this will provide more insights for student outcomes and for the school.
